How it works

Five steps.

From the first person to the company's picture.

  1. Someone starts

One person starts for the company and answers a few questions about it: industry, size, how you sell. Two minutes.

  2. They share a link

The link lets colleagues join the same company. One person can answer everything. Ten people can each take their part.

  3. You choose your parts

You see the parts of marketing and mark the ones you can describe in detail. You are asked about those and nothing else.

  4. You answer

For each part: how the work gets done, a few facts, the data behind it, results, and last the tools. About five minutes a part, after the questions everyone answers.

  5. Your company gets its picture

When enough of the company has answered, we combine the answers and send the report.

Questions

What people ask.

How long does it take?

About 20 minutes for one part of marketing. Each further part adds five to ten minutes. One person answering for a whole company needs about two hours. Your answers save as you go, so you can do it in several sittings.

Can one person answer for the whole company?

Yes. The picture is then marked as one person's view. It gets sharper as more people add theirs.

What if I do not know an answer?

Say so, or skip the question. It never counts against anyone. The one exception is a short written answer, which we ask of everyone.

Is this a survey about AI?

Only in part. It is about how efficiently and effectively your team runs. AI is one part of that, next to people, ways of working, data and tools. More AI is never counted as better.

Who sees my answers?

Nobody at your company sees who said what. The company sees one combined picture, and where people disagreed.

What do you do with information about tools?

We add it up across many companies. Makers of marketing tools can buy those totals. They never see your company's name or answers.

Do I need to prepare anything?

No. It helps to have a rough idea of last quarter's numbers for your part of marketing.

Can I stop and come back?

Yes, on the same device and in the same browser.

Ready when you are.

About 20 minutes for one part of marketing. Stop and come back at any time.
